26th October – Western Daily press photographer and Arena Production Company attend the initial trial run on the Quantocks.

November 6th – Full page Western Daily Press article kick starts publicity drive

November 7th – Bristol Evening Post duplicate article for further publicity.

November 7th – Interview with Radio Bristol 

November 8th – BBC Points West film Jon Road Training – AM

November 8th – Team meet up at Indefactable – Anglesey - PM

November 9th – 2nd team trial on Mt Snowdon – summit in just over three hours

November 11th – BBC run news item

November 25th  – HTV television ran a news edit of film footage taken of team trial on Mt Snowdon

November – Final alterations to be made to chair

November / December/ January – daily road (handcycling) and gym work

December 10th – January edition of Trail magazine launched with article in

January – BBC radio Bristol feature talking with Susan Osmond

February 8th – main core of team leave for Kilimanjaro

February 14th – rest of team leave for Kilimanjaro

The following is a provisional diary, subject to confirmation

February 16th – Rest day and some final logistical work

February 17th – confirmed start of ascent - was trying for the 18th to allow Jon an extra rest day after only arriving late on the 15th.

February 22nd – anticipated date for summit

February 24th – anticipated date for arriving back at base

February 24th onwards – visits to various local projects – orphanages, hospitals and wheelchair project.

March 2nd – Fly back to Britain

March 5th onwards - various PR exercises, visits to schools, after dinner speeches and presentations.
